A girl has needs.....

Decided to create my 10 ten lists.
Of course there are the must haves, everyday things that I simply could not do without!
  1. Bad Gal Lash from Benefit.  Why?  when surrounded by male relatives (Dad, Brother, husband)  all with insanely long luscious lashes...why are the women cursed with little stubby lashes?
  2. Don`t forget the lash curler! Not a day goes by.....
  3. And while we are on the cosmetics train we may as well add the Erase Paste (starting to think I may be a Benefit Gal!) Being a mommy of a 4 year old I thought by this point I would be sleeping.  Not so much!
  4. A Caramel Macchiato...any time of day! Mmmm caramel!
  5. Black T-shirt and my Citizens Dita Petite jeans.  Nothing else is as comfortable.
  6. Add some black wedge heels!  I am a shorty, gotta fake it!
  7. Currently loving my Rio Chandelier earrings.  From the day they arrived I am pretty sure I have worn them every day!
  8. Kisses from my little girl, every day!  (Oh!  And from my man!)
  9. A rockin`glass of Australian Shiraz!  Currently in love with The Lucky Country.  Yummm!
  10. Brie....who doesn`t love brie!
OK, now for the fun stuff.  Lusting! So here are this gal`s wants!  Hubby says I need to marry into a higher wage bracket!
  1. Savasana Wrap from Lululemon.  Totally toasty, totally comfy and absolutely stylish.
  2. Marc Jacobs Hillier.  Nuf said! Just need to figure out which color...
  3. The perfect little black dress.  Doesn`t every girl search for this?  I have a benefit on the 2nd of March and still am not happy with my LBD.  Maybe time to hits the shops?
  4. Boots.  Black.  Super Cute.
  5. Vacation.  Anywhere hot, sandy with drinks a`plenty!
  6. Carnival necklace.  My reward to myself for meeting my February & March goals.  Can`t wait!
  7. A green thumb.   Seriously, my thumb could not be blacker!  Killing a cactus as we speak!
OK, so maybe my lusts aren`t so bad....I could only think of 7.

Gifts happily accepted!

XOXO

I am in LOVE

For valentines I want this!

Has anyone else seen Love and other drugs?  There is some very nice "scenery" in that one.  Mmmmmm...Jake.....
So...I am sure you thought I meant hunky Jake Gyllenhaal. I DID!
Er, not really.... though he is dreamy.
oh......Sorry about that! Back on track T!

Out out of the holiday rush, mid way through the January blahs.  But just around the corner is one of the few holidays we look forward to.  We Mamas should be spoiled, on Valentines Day

I don’t know about you, but my favorite Valentine gifts come in little packages!  What I really want is the On the Mark necklaceGold plated arrow on a gold plated sterling chain, designed by celebrity designer Maya Brenner.  It's only $54.
Perfect for that little gift...hint hint hint....

Thing is...not every man pays attention to the little hints we drop right!

I challenge you this year to spoil your girlfriends and sisters.  Browse my online Stella & Dot Boutique.  You will find that perfect something to make your Mom feel special on Valentines.  Or build a personal Charm necklace just for your BFF!

Now back to you....why not get something you really want this year? Browse, send me your wishlist and then simply have your guy contact me. It doesn't get any easier!

One of everything please!

Stella & Dot in People Stylewatch Magazine

The long awaited Spring 2011 jewelry collection from Stella & Dot is now available online and at trunk shows — and it’s already getting press buzz! The Signature Clover Leather Wrap Bracelet in blue and the On The Mark Necklace were both featured in the February 2011 issue of People Stylewatch Magazine with Kim Kardashian on the cover (she is also a fan of Stella & Dot jewelry!). Stay tuned for more buzz about Stella & Dot in the news and in the fashion magazines!

New Year...New Style?

It's time!

We need paint, a dining room, some style!  Problem.....differing opinions of style.  Hubby wants masculine, dark colors, sharp lines, etc.  I want eclectic, vintage modern french provincial.  Fanciful, shiny, pretty things!

 VS.

Now, I realize that our problem is completely original and that no couple has ever experienced this before!  So who can I appeal to for a convincing argument to success? Hmmmmmm.

Art, we do seem to agree on for the most part.  I stumbled across the website of a local artist this evening.  I think I may pay the gallery a visit.  I really loved the color and feel of her work.
Kate Napier Gallery

I think I will just need to focus my girly needs into my Stella office downstairs.  I'm thinking white desk and shelving.  Black and white damask, mercury glass, maybe a chandelier?  Velvet chair in a violet color?

Fresh flowers EVERY day....now I am really dreaming!

Ah well a girl can dream can't she?

A few of my favorite things....

There is just something about the holidays that makes everything seem more sparkly, beautiful and crazy than any other time of the year. With the Christmas parties, wrapping gifts, and very last minute shopping!

One day left of work, then it is time to get into the Christmas spirit and actually enjoy the holidays.   Hopefully wrap up the last two required gifts for the hardest men to buy for in the entire family.

So here's what I'm wishing for this year: a dysfunctional mess of beauty products (I`m a total junkie), accessories, mixed with vintage housewares in chic whites and shiny silvers.

ART!  I really need some color in this shack.  I have visited many homes on the past few month styling trunk shows and am so jealous of everyone else`s art.  Eclectic, colorful, simple.  From charcoal drawings to plaster smashes....I need something.  Maybe a Michael`s GC will do it for me and I can get creative.

A friend mentioned Sid Dickens to me about a year ago.  I looked at him with a blank stare.  Absolutely no inkling of what he was talking about.

I GET it now!

Hidden Garden and Fragment I think just to start the collection.  Ohh....Santa!
Well....I hope everyone receives everything on their own wish list this year!

Happy Holidays!

Okay...so it has been a very busy month.  Christmas is 1 week away and I am seriously not ready!  While a good wife and mother would be wrapping, baking and decorating....I am sitting here thoroughly baffled by the technology before me.
I am attempting after 6 months of business to create a Facebook fan page, link to Twitter, and connect it all to my non-existent blog.  Not happening as easily as I would have hoped.  I have chosen to eat popcorn instead....maybe I will catch up on the Real Housewives.  OR...ooh,ooh, I could surf the web for new boots.  Yes, very productive!
Tomorrow is the hubby`s work Christmas party and still haven`t decided what to wear.  It`s a casual thing, but you know how it is....you wanna wow them right!
All I know is that my outfit has to work with my Petra bracelet!  Showstopper!

What do you think...perfect for a holiday party, right!

Well....better get back to it!  Maybe next time it won`t take me a month to post.

Cheers!
